About me
I am artist and designer from the greater U.S. Mid-Atlantic region. Beginning with a love of fine arts, I graduated from Harford Tech High School in 2021, with a focus on printing and graphic communication. With a newfound love of combining the latest technology and fine arts, I chose Salisbury University to further my education in graphic design. Driven by the institution’s integrated curriculum of both fine and graphic arts, today I am earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an expected graduation in the spring of 2025.
In addition, for over three years, I have been an essential worker at the university’s non-profit art galleries. He works with each new artist exhibiting their work, creating graphic products including signage and other ephemera. I have found new purpose in collaborating with other creatives on designs that enhance the display of the artist’s style, while simultaneously informing the community through graphic design that extols readability and style.
My work is not merely an expression of self, sculpted by the rich tapestry of my life experiences, but also a conduit for collective calm. I want my art to bring joy that mirrors from myself to others. Whether my inspiration for projects is as unpredictable as the natural world, or simply a spark from a sketch or a quick idea, my work seeks to resolve visual and verbal language to connect and communicate the creative process.
After graduating, I plan to work for a company that aligns with his values and organic style. Keeping an open mind for the future, hopeful to see mt designs wherever they may end up.
Design Statement
“In the vast landscape of visual memory, where tens of thousands of images cluster, I am haunted by the notion of vemödalen—the fear that everything has already been done. This specter drives my quest to authenticate each creation, ensuring that every piece emerges distinctly from the cacophony of the familiar. My artistic journey is a pursuit of originality, where typography becomes not just text but texture, where organic forms breathe life into static spaces, and where every element of design is reinterpreted through collaborative alchemy.
Each decision in my creative process is deliberate, crafted with the purest intentions to evoke tranquility. I gather and weave diverse elements, drawing both literally and metaphorically from the environment around me to shape works that speak. In this way, my art is a dynamic interaction with the world—a dialogue crafted to resonate, transform, and inspire.”
