Animated Designs

Featured here are two animation focused projects, both utilizing GIF file assets.

Animated Personal Logo

This project focused on designing an animated logotype that captures the identity and ethos of a brand. Serving as the face of a business, a logo distinguishes a brand from its competitors and leaves a lasting impression. By incorporating animation, the logo gains a dynamic element that enhances the brand's personality, tells its story, and solidifies a professional image. The project involves using a previously designed logo—primarily typographic with a minimalist approach—and developing an animation plan through storyboarding. The logo will be brought to life using Animate, with movement triggered by an event or action, and complemented by sound to enhance its impact. This project demonstrates the power of animation in creating an engaging and memorable visual identity.

I created a story board of my personal logo to animate, giving myself two options to work with utilizing the existing elements from the design itself.

Animated GIF Stickers

I created animated Halloween social GIFs for a design project. The process of bringing spooky characters and festive elements to life through animation has deepened my appreciation for timing, movement, and visual storytelling. Each GIF not only reflects my creative ideas but also showcases my growing skills in using the software's tools and features. As I experiment with different styles and effects, I find myself with an enhanced understanding of Adobe Animate.

Process

I started my process with a quick sketching process of ideas I envisioned for my design, at this point I was deciding between themes for my sticker packs. Two of which kind of intertwined in a Fall-vibe so I pushed the idea to be Halloween oriented, a holiday I am very passionate about

From this point I chose to animate a grave zombie, pumpkin man, and cauldron. Below are my story boards and element labeling.
