Salisbury University Student Research Conference

Overview

I was tasked with designing an original, creative, and visually interesting poster for the Salisbury Univeristy Student Research Conference. This conference is a research conference that encompasses many fields of study that SU offers including Health & Human Services, Liberal Arts, Science & Tech, Business Education.

Brain Storm

I started my ideation by creating a moodboard of the needed information and representation. I browsed for possible typefaces and made variations of the official school Pantone color options.

Sketches

I created three options of rough sketches, exploring grids and dynamic layouts. I eventually chose to focus on the middle sketch and push it further

Final Design

The final design was turned in as well as 11 other designers. Through a unanimous decision my design won and was chosen to represent the confrence this spring.
