This project consisted of creating a new brand, and a logo to follow. The end goal was to produce a designed package for the company.
The logo for The Surf Joint is a simplified graphic of a marijuana leaf, with the largest leaf resembling a surfboard to create a full circle embodiment of the dispensary’s brand identity.
Finished off with a rustic beach shack serif enclosed in a badge.
Company Statement and Bio
“Matt and Andy started The Surf Joint in 2017 in Lewes, DE with the purpose of sharing the medicinal and recreational properties of sea-grass with the coastal community. Together they have been able to bring good vibes and quality products for over 5 years to coastal Delaware.
Matt and Andy’s company was built with the values of freshness, sustainability, and creating an united community for those who use THC products and most of all good vibes.”
Product Image Gallery
The Surf Joint sells a range of homegrown bud, edibles, and vape carts. Their products are made in-house in batches, yielding highly concentrated THC from its plants, and rare strains to appeal to customers. The product I have designed is a standard Medical THC cartridge box for an Indica strain that is grown and produced in-house.
