Project Brief
For this project I was asked to create a double spread layout for a magazine insert using Adobe InDesign about our favorite artist. Around the time Taylor Swift had just dropped a new album; I gathered photos from the album’s promotion, formating and expanding them in Photoshop to help blend seamlessly with the text wraps.
Initial Sketches
I started my process with several sketches on ideas for how the spread would be laid out. I aimed to include elements that were vital to the albums aesthetic, as well as making them blend with the photos. I gathered all the text from an interview and started laying it out in Illustrator using columns, gutters, grids and margins.
